OVERVIEW

The Boka Origins tour starts in front of your hotel where we will pick you up, either from Podgorica, Cetinje or Budva. After about one hour drive, we will reach the very spot in Njegusi where we will start the hike. We will hike about one hour towards the sightseeing spot. After we have reached the highest point (998 m) you will be stunned with the view. Here, you will also take the most fabulous photos. We will give you introduction to this beautiful place, explain the legend of fairy Alkima that resides here, the origins of Boka, and we will have a drink (Montenegrin beer or Soft drink).

After we have seen and admired the view, we will hike back to Njegusi and visit the oldest restaurant in Montenegro Kod Pera na Bukovicu (opened in 1881), where we will have some meze (snacks) or a sandwich and try delicious Montenegrin wine, rakija, medovaca (honey rakija) or medovina (honey wine).

09:00 Meeting in front of your hotel in Podgorica, Cetinje or Budva

09:00 - 10:15 Driving through Cetinje towards Njeguši

10:15 - 11:15 We will hike to Pestingrad (easy to moderate hike)

11:15 - 11:30 Introduction to Boka Bay, legends of Pestingrad, stories of Kotor, Perast, Risan and Tivat

11.30 - 12:15 Free time to take photos, have a drink and simply indulge in this mesmerizing view on the Bokokorski bay

12:15 - 13:15 Hike back to Njegusi village

13:15 - 13:30 Driving to the oldest restaurant in Montenegro

13:30 - 14:30 Snacks and drinks at the restaurant (short tour of the "smoking" facilities where the ham is prepared, shot of rakija).

14:30 - 15:45 Driving back to Podgorica

15:45 End of the tour
