How can we together make the difference?
Our core belief is that – when done right – tourism can be a force for good. We call it a love of humanity. Some like to call it philanthropy. We are a company that promotes tourism as a means to a more connected and peaceful world and it’s our philosophy to be responsible in every way we can.
We have always believed tourism is a two-way street. That is why we feel it is right to give back to Montenegro.
When we thought of ways to give back to our community, apart from using local guides, local products and locally owned accommodation - one thought came to our minds.
We wanted to ensure that young generations, which happen to be growing without traditional family, have as many prospects for the future, as we did. We want to improve the life and educational standards of children without "traditional" families.
10% of all the profit made through our tours will go to the Children’s home "Mladost" in Bijela.
Children's home "Mladost" in Bijela
Children's home "Mladost" in Bijela is the only institution for child protection in Montenegro. They take care of children with no parents, as well as the children whose growth has been endangered by their legal care takers, such as their family.
It was established in 1946. There are approximately 170 children housed at Children’s Home in Bijela, ages: 1 month to 18 years - with an aim to provide as positive of a childhood for them as possible, and to prepare them for an independent adult life.
The institution provides children with a safe place to grow, personal and health care, educational and social activities, and volunteering and work opportunities in order to stimulate their growth and development in all spheres- to encourage their self-discovery, development of various skills, healthy work habits and creativity, in order to prepare them for an independent adult life.
The institution also provides its protégés with social support, education, and professional non-parental care filled with love and warmth, to help establish a healthy growth environment, as well as teach them good social habits and skills.
