Caeli Travel at TTG Rimini 2026: Our First Visit, New Connections and Opportunities for Montenegro
October took us to Italy for something new: our very first visit to TTG Travel Experience in Rimini!
As a Montenegro-based destination management company specializing in private tours, tailor-made holidays and group travel, we are always looking for opportunities to build meaningful international partnerships and bring our destination closer to travellers around the world.
Having attended international travel fairs before, we were curious to experience one of Italy’s leading tourism events firsthand, meet new people in the industry, reconnect with familiar partners and, of course, continue introducing Montenegro to the international travel market.
Three busy days later, we returned home with fresh ideas, valuable contacts and plenty to think about as we look towards the 2027 travel season.
Our First TTG Rimini Experience
Held from 14 to 16 October 2026 at the Rimini Expo Centre, the 63rd edition of TTG Travel Experience brought together tourism professionals, destinations, travel agencies, tour operators and hospitality businesses from across the world.
According to the official closing report published by Italian Exhibition Group, TTG and InOut welcomed 2,800 exhibiting brands, more than 1,000 buyers and an impressive 15,000 business meetings.
The scale was impressive, but what we appreciated most was the opportunity to meet people who understand the work, dedication and attention to detail that go into creating memorable travel experiences.
For Caeli Travel, attending TTG was another opportunity to strengthen our presence in the international tourism market and introduce our approach to organizing private journeys, tailor-made itineraries and group travel in Montenegro.
As a local DMC, we know our country well, but understanding the expectations of international travellers and the partners who work with them is just as important.
And that’s one of the main reasons we value attending events like TTG.
The Best Part? Always the People
Trade fairs are often described in terms of exhibitors, meetings and business opportunities. All of that matters, of course, but for us, the most rewarding part has always been the people behind the industry.

It was especially nice to reconnect with our partners from Italy, North Macedonia and Spain, exchange ideas, catch up on developments and enjoy conversations beyond the usual emails and phone calls.
We also had the opportunity to discover new companies, learn about different destinations and explore possibilities for future cooperation.
Working in tourism means working with people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. And while so much of our daily communication happens online, meeting face-to-face brings a different kind of connection.
We believe that good partnerships are built on trust, mutual understanding and a shared commitment to taking care of travellers.
That is exactly the approach we try to bring to every relationship we develop at Caeli Travel.

EXIST: A Theme That Resonated With Us
One of the most interesting aspects of TTG Rimini 2026 was its central theme, EXIST, which invited the tourism industry to reflect on the importance of authentic human experiences in an increasingly digital world.
It felt particularly relevant.
Technology and artificial intelligence are changing how people discover destinations, plan their holidays and book travel services. At the same time, travellers continue to look for experiences that feel personal, meaningful and connected to the places they visit.
The official TTG 2026 industry report also highlighted growing interest in experiential tourism, wellness, luxury travel and slower ways of exploring destinations.
For us, these ideas are closely connected to what we have always believed good travel should be.
A well-designed journey is not simply a collection of famous landmarks. It is about the atmosphere of a place, the people you meet, the stories you hear and the small moments that often become your favourite memories.
Sometimes that’s a private boat ride through the Bay of Kotor. Sometimes it’s a traditional lunch with a local family, a walk through a mountain village or discovering a part of Montenegro you had never heard about before.
These experiences cannot be fully captured by an itinerary or a beautiful photograph. They need to be lived. And that is where local knowledge and personal attention make a difference.
What Does This Mean for Montenegro and Caeli Travel?
One of our biggest takeaways from TTG was how relevant Montenegro’s diversity is to the different travel styles gaining attention internationally.
Within a relatively small area, our country offers the Adriatic coastline, historic towns, national parks, mountain adventures, local gastronomy and opportunities to experience a more traditional way of life.
For travellers interested in nature, culture, private travel and authentic experiences, Montenegro has a great deal to offer.
Our role at Caeli Travel is to turn that potential into well-planned, enjoyable journeys.
That means listening carefully to our partners and guests, understanding their expectations and designing itineraries that make sense in practice, not only on paper.
It also means continuing to develop our relationships with local guides, hotels, small businesses and experience providers across Montenegro.
As we prepare for the 2027 season, we are particularly interested in further developing tailor-made journeys for independent travellers, private groups and international tour operators looking for reliable local expertise.
We want our partners to feel confident that their guests are in good hands, and our travellers to leave Montenegro with a genuine connection to the country.
Until Next Time, Rimini!
Our first TTG Rimini experience was a wonderful opportunity to see familiar faces, make new connections and gain a broader perspective on where our industry is heading.
We returned to Montenegro with new ideas, conversations to follow up on and an even greater appreciation for the international community we are part of.
A big thank you to everyone we met, especially our existing partners who made time to catch up with us. It was a pleasure seeing you in person!
And to the new contacts we made along the way, we look forward to staying in touch and exploring what we can create together.
From our little Montenegro to the wider world of travel, we are excited about what comes next.
Until next time, Rimini!
