On the way to Godinje Village, we will drive along an old Montenegrin road which is a special experience itself.

OVERVIEW

The Fascinatingl Skadar Lake tour starts in front of your hotel where we will pick you up. After half an hour drive (from Podgorica), we will reach Virpazar, a small fisherman village. We will take a boat ride, and spend 1 hour enjoying the beautiful nature unfolding in front of your eyes, while tasting Montenegrin homemade food, rakija and wine.

With the licensed Montenegrin guide, you will find out everything about this beautiful place. After the cruise, we will have a short hike to Besac fortress, see a different perspective of the lake and take some amazing photos.

After the short hike, we will go to one of the oldest villages in whole Montenegro and have wine tasting and traditional meze.

We will end the tour of the lake after the wine tasting and head back to your hotel.

09:00 Meeting in front of your hotel in Podgorica

09:00 - 09:30 Driving to Virpazar, where we will take our boat tour

09:30-10:30 We will go boat cruising on the lake and get to know history, cultural heritage, flora and fauna, we will see Grmozur island (Montenegrin Alcatraz) and see the abundant bird life

10:30 - 11:15 We will climb to Besac fortress

11:15 - 11:40 We will drive to Godinje where we will visit a family winery and try Vranac red wine

11:40 - 13:00 Wine tasting with traditional mezze

13:00 - 14:00 Driving back to Podgorica

14:00 End of the tour

We will try the traditional wines from Crmnica region.
